To reach the temple, we have to cross some distance from the foot – hill of the mountain. Beneath the mountain, there is a small Sannadhi for Siriya Thiruvadi, Anjaneyar. And there is a small Pushkarani found near this Sannadhi and it is very special, if we take bath in this theertham and proceed towards the main temple.
The Vimaanam of the temple is Thaatchyathri and is built in the northern style. The main Garbhagriham (Moolavar Sannadhi) is built in the midst of the temple and it is square in shape inside the Garbhagriham, Sri Varaha Narasimhar is giving his seva to his bhaktas.
In – front of the Moolavar Sannadhi, the Artha mandapam is found and lots of utsavams are performed for the perumal during utsavam days.
A special chariot is constructed by carving the stone of the mountain and on top of it, a ugra Narasimha moorthy is constructed. Only one day in a year, on Sri Narasimha Yayanthi, we can get the dharshan of this Ugra Narasimhar and on other days, since he is in Ugra ( ferocious or angry ) form, he is smeared with Sandalwood all over him.
